Joan Dumouchel / Montreal

Joan's art is so truly dreamy and beautiful.  So amazing!  I'm so happy I found it and I'll be following her work forever!

"When I create figures, I inhabit them for a moment and I see myself living my emotions and my fantasies through them. It fascinates me... and it appears to me that this is the magical in creation." -Joan Dumouchel

NIK HELBIG

Nik Helbig has such wonderful, passionate, colorful art.  His site is amazing!  In his on-line gallery he has art by color, which I think is super cool and by subject.  I have some of his red work here, but also check out my Artist I Adore blog if you wish.  Or better yet, check out Nik's site.

Ok, first of all you got red and then you got ballerina's.  Or I should say, you got ballerina's and then you got RED!  In any case, the people in power should hell no, not rule the world.  Red Ballerina's should rule the world and here's why...

Please see artist name and links below image.

Daily madness!

My mad red pic of the day is from comic artist, Seleus Blelus.  I fell in love with this picture the instant I saw it and had to make it part of the Mad About Red collection.  This is a self portrait of Seleus from her "Art feat Me" Facebook album(see link below)

I love everything about this picture!  The way its on a piece of paper on a desk is simple elegance and the flow of the dress.  Every true romantic knows the dress has gots to flow!  And of course because its RED!  Enjoy!
